“…we should do it with all our strength…”

Dear Children,
Previously, we learned that God is the best teammate we could ever have. When God is with us, we can have true victory. But does that mean we can relax, be lazy, or stop trying our best?
Let us read Ecclesiastes 9:10, Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
This verse teaches us that whatever work God has given us to do, we should do it with all our strength. Our time on earth is limited, so while we are here, we should faithfully use it to serve God.
God created us to work. Even before Adam sinned, God gave him the responsibility of caring for the Garden of Eden. Work is part of God's good plan for us.
The same is true for us today. God may have given you schoolwork to do, chores at home, or opportunities to help in church. Whatever task God has placed before you, whether it is finishing your homework, obeying your parents, or cleaning the church, do it wholeheartedly because you are serving Him.
So let us never think that because God is on our side, we can be lazy and expect Him to do everything for us. Instead, let us give our very best in everything we do, trusting God to help us, so that He may be glorified through our lives.
