“…God always wants us to come to Him…”

Dear Children,
Life can be difficult at times. Sometimes we struggle to finish our homework. Maybe we find it difficult to practise our piano, or perhaps we are having problems with our friends at school. When we are struggling, we often go to our parents and hope that they can help us.
But our parents may not always be beside us when we need help. They may be busy, or they may not know exactly what we are going through. But there is Someone who is always there for us and who always cares for us when we are in need.
Let us look at what the Bible says in 1 Peter 5:7, Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
This verse tells us that we can cast all our cares upon God because He cares for us. God always wants us to come to Him with our problems, worries, and struggles. We do not have to carry them by ourselves. All we have to do is pray and tell God about the things that are troubling us.
We can see an example of this in the life of David. There were many times when people wanted to kill David. During those difficult times, David cried out to God and asked Him for help and deliverance from his enemies. We can read some of David's prayers and praises in Psalm 18 and Psalm 34.
So, dear children, whenever you are going through a difficult time, do not keep your worries to yourself. Bring them to God in prayer. Tell Him about your fears, your struggles, and the things that make you sad.
Remember God cares for you deeply. He is always ready to listen when you pray, and you can trust Him with all your cares.
