Proverbs 11:14, Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
Every day of our lives, we need guidance and advice, especially when we are facing trouble. We may not always know what to do and not to do, so we need counsel. When there is no counsel, we will fall, make mistakes, and get ourselves in trouble.
But when we are surrounded with many godly people who are able to guide, lead, advise and counsel us according to the Word of God, we are safe as in we will be delivered from our troubles.
Dear children, where is the best place to be in the multitude of counsellors? The church! We have the pastor, preachers, elders, deacons and godly friends who are willing to counsel and advise us through God’s Word. That is why we must always be found in the church, fellowship groups, Bible study, prayer meetings, etc. When we do that, the Bible says, there is safety.
