“…the beginning and the ending…”

Dear Children,
Some people think that Jesus was just a man. After all, Jesus felt hunger, thirst and also pain. He even prayed to God. Furthermore, Jesus was born thousands of years after Adam. So, how can Jesus be God? What did Jesus say about Himself?
Let us look at Revelation 1:8, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
When Jesus appeared to the Apostle John and revealed to him the things that would happen in the future, He declared that He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending. No ordinary man can make such a claim, because every man has a beginning. Adam was created on the sixth day of creation, and every person who has lived since then was born into this world. But Jesus existed even before the world was created. He was not merely a man who existed when He was born in Bethlehem. He is God, who has existed from everlasting to everlasting. In fact, before Jesus was born on earth, He had already appeared to people in the Old Testament. He appeared to Abraham and revealed Himself to Joshua as the Captain of the LORD's host.
Jesus is not only the Alpha, but also the Omega, which means the ending. He is the Almighty, and He will reign as King forever and ever. His kingdom will never end!
Therefore, let us always remember that Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully man.
