Lamentations 3:25

The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. (Lamentations 3:25)
When a person desires to get something, he or she will seek it with great patience. Like a hunter will wait patiently for his prey to take the bait. Or a farmer will patiently labour for the harvest of crops.
What is your greatest desire in this life? Do you earnestly desire the goodness of the Lord?
There is great comfort, assurance and encouragement for those people who seek the Lord and wait for Him. For the Bible says, The LORD is good unto them that wait for him… that seeketh him.
The Lord will forgive all their sins and grant them eternal life. He will give them His grace and mercy. He will give them His Spirit and empower them. He will guide and protect them. He will provide for their needs and cheer them. He will comfort and strengthen their hearts. Ultimately He will lead them to the glorious heaven and be with them forever in His eternal kingdom. Yes, indeed there is the abundance of goodness in this life and the life to come that awaits those who wait for the Lord.
