Dear Children,
Have you ever made a promise? Sometimes you promise your friend that you will attend their birthday party or help them with something. But suddenly you fall sick and you are not able to. You are then unable to keep the promise. How about your parents? Sometimes your parents promise that they will bring you to the playground. But suddenly it starts raining and you are not able to go. Are you sad?
We often break promises because of unexpected events. But did you know that there is one who will always keep His promises no matter what happens? Let’s look at 2 Corinthians 1:20.
2 Corinthians 1:20, For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
This verse tells us that He will always keep His promises, no matter what happens. One of the greatest promises that He has made was to Adam and Eve when He promised that there will be someone that will save us from their sin in the future. The promise is then fulfilled in our Lord Jesus Christ.
There are many more wonderful promises from God that can be found in the bible. Do you know any more promises from our Almighty God?
