💭 Consider this: What are the “golden calves” in your life—things you turn to instead of God? Are there past influences or desires that still tug at your heart and hinder your spiritual growth? How seriously do you take God’s call to “put sin to death” in your heart, not just your actions?

📣 How quickly do you forget God’s goodness? 🤔
Throughout their existence as an nation, the Israelites had uniquely witnessed God's power and mercy—yet, as soon as they faced an inconvenience, God seemed to be forgotten. Why did the Israelites, who had never made a graven image before, so quickly turn around and make the golden calf? Did their hearts care for God? What does their failure reveal about our own impatience, desires, and priorities?
In this message from Exodus 32:1–6, we reflect on how spiritual forgetfulness leads to idolatry—and how we, too, are prone to create our own "golden calves" when we stop waiting on God. But there's also hope: a call to remember, to repent, and to return to worship that honours Him alone.
