đź’Â Consider this: Are there areas in your life where you feel spiritually detached or unreliant on God? When seasons of pruning come, do you see them as opportunities to grow in Christ or tend to resist them for your comfort?
RefQuests
- Are there areas where I am spiritually “detached,” and how does this affect my fruitfulness?
- When I face trials, afflictions, or pruning, do I see them as opportunities to bear more fruit or as obstacles to my comfort?
- How intentional am I about abiding in God’s Word daily, and what might I need to change to grow closer to Him?
- Have I ever been tempted to rely on my feelings or experiences rather than Scripture for guidance?

📣 What does true spirituality really look like? 🤔
Is it found in discipline, experiences, or outward humility—or somewhere else entirely? In Colossians 2:16–19, Paul warns believers of subtle dangers that can quietly draw the heart away from Christ. Practices that appear spiritual, impressive, or sincere can, in fact, become empty substitutes for genuine faith if they are not rooted in Him.
This message calls us to examine where we are truly anchored. Are we holding fast to Christ alone, or drifting toward human effort, religious experience, or self-made spirituality? And if Christ is our Head, is our growth truly coming from Him?
