📣 What are you pursuing after? 🤔
The things we hunger and thirst after reveal much about what we value. In Matthew 5:6, Christ says, “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” But what does it really mean to hunger and thirst after righteousness? Is righteousness something we genuinely desire, or have the things of this world taken its place?
As we continue through the Beatitudes, we are challenged to examine the desires of our hearts and consider whether we truly long for righteousness. What does your life show that you hunger and thirst after?

We will not live in habitual sins
We love that which is righteous
We will crave God’s Word
