📣 “When was the last time that you were delighted or glad at the thought of going to church for worship?” 🤔

Why do you attend church services? Is your attendance at these meetings merely out of obligation? Or, maybe you attend with purpose and commitment, but is there any joy at the forefront of those reasons?

Having been invited to go to the house of the Lord, David wrote Psalm 122. It may come as no surprise that the psalmist David, a man after God’s own heart, would express such overwhelming joy in going to worship God, but can we say we feel the same joy? Why should our attitude be any different?

Reading the words of the Psalmist, let us consider where our heart truly is when we come to church and where it ought to be…
