Bethel Family Camp 2007
Every year, the congregation of Bethel have their annual getaway to study, reflect and learn more of God’s Word. 2007 is no different. This year’s camp will focus on the book of 1 Peter and will be lead by Dr Jeffery Khoo – a lecturer from Far Eastern Bible College in Singapore.
Who is the speaker?
Dr Jeffery Khoo is no stranger to us. He lectures at FEBC and is a member of the faculty holding the positions of Librarian, Academic Dean, and Lecturer in the New Testament. In conjunction with the adult’s programme, a separate children’s program will be taken by John McCarthy and will be running concurrently.
What are we studying?
The book of 1 Peter was written by the apostle Peter – the apostle who is well known for his thrice denial of Christ at the time of His crucifixion, but repented and demonstrated boldness in preaching Christ in the days of the early Church.
Where is the camp?
This year’s camp will be held in the Grampians at Norval House and Lodge, Halls Gap – a town situated at the heart of the Grampians National Park making it convenient to enjoy the Wonderland Range. All families are welcome to come along to enjoy a peaceful time together.
